Stockwell Partnership.
Our mission
The Stockwell Partnership is the community forum for
the Stockwell neighbourhood and exists to improve the quality of life
for people who live and work in this area. We want an area that people
feel proud of, where they feel safe and where there is a sense of community.
Aims
- We
want to be the first point of call for people who are seeking advice,
information or assistance on any issue that is of concern to
them.
- We
want to have a community forum that is fully representative of the rich
and diverse neighbourhood we live in.
- We
want to work with the London Borough of Lambeth and other external agencies
to secure funds and improved services for the neighbourhood and, in
particular, to deliver projects contained in the Stockwell Masterplan.
- We
want to support all activities that address poverty and social exclusion.
Values
The Stockwell Partnership
believes that:
- Local people need access
to information to enable them to make informed choices and take control
of their lives.
- Services should reflect
and positively promote the benefits of living in the diverse community
of Stockwell.
In April 2005, Stockwell
Partnership's Management Board approved our new business plan, the results
of a six month consultation and needs analysis. The plan details the role
we would like to play in Stockwell's further development from January
2006 to March 2008.
