Living Spaces
This fund makes awards available from £1k to £100k to neighbourhood groups for environmental improvements to public open spaces. This is a government supported managed by Groundwork. All applications must include a formal permission of the landowner to carry out the project. There is no closing date, the application form and other details are available on the website.

Lloyds TSB Foundation
This community programme funds registered charities [unless the income is less than £1k a year] who work at the local or regional level. The average grant is just over £5k. Royal National Institute of the Blind [RNIB]
RNIB Grants Service can offer small grants to blind and partially sighted people, to help with a specific need. Applicants should be: registered as blind or partially sighted with a council in the UK, be on a low income and have no other sources of financial help. The RNIB do not give grants to groups or organisations.
